Do you notice how much time we spend with brands? Should we be valuing our time more, are we subservient to brands?
These are the questions Paul McCrudden in our digital team has been asking himself. But rather than just ask the question, he’s taken real action!
Over the last 6 weeks Paul has been evaluating all the time he has spent watching unwanted programmes on TV, standing in queues at Pret a Manger and eating out at places like Pizza Express where the brand has had his attention and time.
As a response, between 15th June and 31st July, Paul recorded how much time he spent with these brands and has invoiced the companies for his time with a 75% discount.
According to his sums he is owed over £6,000 and has invoiced 50+ companies. Amazingly, Pret a Manger has been the first company to pay up.
Paul’s efforts have been creating quite a stir and the story has been picked up in the Telegraph, Contagious, Campaign, Wired and Metro
