The Body Shop wanted to attract customers to stores and to raise online awareness of Love Etc...
Insight
For the target audience of young women, love is about more than romance. It’s about sharing experiences, friendships and love for the world.
Solution
We wanted to create something that brought that same warm glow that you get when someone says that they love you, or you receive a compliment from a stranger. We wanted to let our target audience spread the love themselves.
A small film crew hit the streets, asking passers-by one simple question: “what does love mean to you?”
Then short, edited clips were made up from the answers and were displayed in store windows and on a branded YouTube channel.
In a perfect mix of physical and digital, traffic was driven to stores by face-to-face interaction and through social media.
Results
A significant increase in footfall in Body Shop stores over the course of the campaign, and over 5000 video views online. People are continuing to fall for Love Etc…
